Wayne Snellgrove grew up in the fields and woods of South Alabama where he developed a love for wildlife. After 30 years in education, he works full-time as a carver of birds. His work is  in private collections in several states and other countries.

He and his wife, Pam, devote much of their time to art shows, bird watching, and  the preservation of wildlife. They always welcome an opportunity to talk about birds.
